Los Angeles pop songstress Jenni Alpert is a powerful sultry voice who's honest rich songwriting and soothing musical melodies grab listeners in every corner.
Since graduating UCLA as the first vocalist to complete Kenny Burrell's four year Jazz program, Jenni Alpert has independently toured the US and internationally in over 14 countries with regularity in the UK (England, Ireland, Scotland), France, The Netherlands, Italy, and Australia.
Her music has been featured in Castle (ABC, All We Need is Love), Lipstick Jungle (NBC, Simple Mood), CSI Miami (CBS, Breakin Down), The Real World (MTV, With One Breath), 16 and Pregnant (MTV, All We Need is Love, Damage Done, Simple Mood), The Messengers (CBS, Fade Away), and heard on PBS, Sirius XM Radio, Channel 22 Mix, and Pandora.
She has been a support act for Loudon Wainwright III, Jon Allen, Kaki King, and has shared stages with college friend Sara Bareilles and Regina Spektor among other familiar voices.
Her most recent release 'Underneath the Surface' (produced by Brad Smith (Blind Melon) features Jimmy Paxson (drums), Chris Chaney (bass), Lenny Castro (percussion), Zac Rae (synths), and Kevin Haaland (guitar). (Engineered by Eric Boulanger; Mastered by Eric Boulanger and Doug Sax)

Scott Mellis has just finished his debut studio release "Dancing for the Murder or Desire" an eclectic fusion of various musical styles, this was recorded in bedrooms, basements and recording studios between Australia and the United States. The offering includes notable musicians like Brad Smith (Blind Melon), Dave Elitch (The Mars Volta) and a French horn section from the University of Southern California.
"To write good songs, you have to take ego out, keep your mind clear," explains Scott.
"All good art comes from a struggle."

The past few years have seen North Carolina singer songwriter Greg Humphreys independently release three solo albums with a genre-hopping bent, visiting Folk, Soul, Jazz, Country, and Blues along the way. He has been busy as a solo touring artist, sharing the stage with with fellow North Carolina acoustic acts such as The Carolina Chocolate Drops and Chatham County Line.
Humphreys' alt-pop rock band Dillon Fence emerged from the acclaimed Chapel-Hill NC music scene of the early '90s and released three albums on Mammoth / Atlantic Records. Dillon Fence amassed a huge southeastern following and toured the U.S. and Europe with some of the biggest acts of the '90s, such as The Black Crowes, Dave Matthews Band, Weezer, Lush, Hootie and The Blowfish, Alanis Morrisette, The Lemonheads, and Blind Melon.
Humphreys' Funk and Soul band HOBEX formed in 1996 released 5 albums over the next 11 years, including "Back in the '90s" on London Records and "U Ready Man" on Tone-Cool / Artemis Records. HOBEX was a staple on the US Jam Festival circuit and toured with fellow roots groups Parliament Funkadelic, North Mississippi All-Stars, Squirrel Nut Zippers, Jon Cleary, Karl Denson, and JJ Grey and MOFRO.
Humphreys still performs occasionally with Dillon Fence and HOBEX. Humphreys' international version of HOBEX headlined the Yornet Stage at Prague CZ's United Islands Festival on June 25th 2011, followed by a Summer residence in Prague and an August '11 EU solo tour.
