I'm your host Dana Ward and today we're reviewing the winners for the MMVAs. The Canadian awards show celebrated a lot of young artists that we all know and love. Miley Cyrus and her Party in the USA won Best International Vid of the Year for an artist while the group category went to the Jonas Brothers for Paranoid and Adam Lambert's Whataya Want From Me got fave overseas video. The band Hedley took home 3 MMVAs, including for Video of the Year, Post-Production of the Year and Pop Vid of the Year, all for the songs Perfect and Cha-Ching. Trey Songz and Drake won Cinematography of 2010 as well as Hip-Hop Video of the Year. Best Director and Fave Rock Video got won by Billy Talent plus Hot Girl by Belly featuring Snoop Dog earned the Muchfact Indie Video. Keep in mind that Canadian native, Justin Bieber got the number-1 spot for 3 categories, including International Video of the Year BY a Canadian for One Time, his Baby with Ludacris track won Fave Video and that same one got Your Fave New Artist. Those are the winners for this year's Much Music Video Awards. There's a crazy rumor going around right now about Beyonce. Sources are saying that she's straight up faking her pregnancy! Let me explain. Yesterday Bey's interview from Australia hit the web, and some are saying that when she sat down, her belly appeared to fold, leading many to believe she was wearing a prosthetic baby bump! So what gives? Well some saying the interview was shot awhile back before Bey was showing, but they padded her because of the later air date. Others are saying she's not even pregnant at all, and is using a surrogate because she didn't want to put her body through the stress. Bey's rep has since responded to the claims calling them stupid, ridiculous and false. If you ask us, we don't think Beyonce is the kind of celeb to fake her bump. But what do you think? Jess showed up in a super cute crimson wrap dress that definitely showed off her growing baby bump. She looked to be so happy as she and Eric posed for pics and she kept one hand on her belly. I'm Bridget Daly and I don't know about you guys but the end of the year always makes me feel really nostalgic, so I decided to reminisce a bit and look back at the top 5 biggest award show moments of 2011, so here we go. At number 5 we have Taylor Swift winning CMT's Artist of the Year. This year she shared the award with Lady Antebellum, Jason Aldean and Kenny Chesney. She is the youngest person to receive this honor (I think?), and she totally deserves it making an entirely new generation interested in her pop/country style. At number 4 we have Britney and Rihanna's S and M performance at the Billboard Music Awards. This performance had everything, chains, whips, pole dancing, pillow fights and of course the infamous kiss. Now it seems this also garnered a lot of controversy, which reminded us a lot of what happened back in 2003 when she performed "Like A Virgin" and had a little make out sesh with Madonna. I guess the world is still not ready to see Britney all up on another lady. Next we have a moment that we actually feel bad about, but at the same time we couldn't leave it of our list. At number 3 we have the BET Viewer's Choice Award Girl. All we can say is they picked the wrong time to try out some new technology. You can see the pure terror hit the presenter's face as she tries to announce the winner, first calling Chris Brown to the stage, then Rihanna. Drake the actual winner, accepted the award starting with, "well this is awkward," and we couldn't agree more. At number 2 we couldn't leave out our favorite show-stopper, of course it's Lady Gaga. Picking a moment for her was hard, since every time she shows up anywhere it's an entire production, but for this countdown we went with the 2011 Grammys. Only Gaga would show up in an actual egg being carried in by her minions. She hatched during her performance of "Born This Way" and danced with prosthetic shoulder and cheek bones in-tact. And finally at the top of our list, we have Beyonce's baby news at the VMA's. Garnering attention first on the red carpet, but she confirmed the rumors after her performance when she undid her blazer and rubbed her pregnant belly. And immediately the world went wild with the news. This is probably the biggest announcement we've heard this year in the music world, and we couldn't be happier for her and Jay-z. Mama Beyonce finally addresses those crazy fake pregnancy rumors! Hey guys, you're tuned in to ClevverMusic. When Beyonce was pregnant with first child, Blue Ivy Carter, tons of rumors were spread about it being a "fake" pregnancy. The rumors claimed B wasn't actually pregnant and that she had a surrogate carry the child. Further, people speculated that she wore a fake prosthetic belly to pretend like she was having the child.
Previously, uber private Mom Beyonce had been hush hush about these rumors, but has recently responded. During her interview for People Magazine's 'World's Most Beautiful Woman,' issue Beyonce revealed, "That was crazy. It wasn't hurtful, it was just crazy," the 16-time Grammy winner told the mag, "Where did they come up with this?"
The rumors escalated with B appeared on Australian talk show 'Sunday Night HD' and her stomach appeared to deflate on camera. To this, Beyonce said, "It was fabric that folded- does fabric not fold? Oh my gosh, so stupid."
We love that Beyonce is finally putting all those naysayers in their place. And being named 'World's Most Beautiful Woman' serves as sweet revenge. We couldn't be happier for new Mom Beyonce, who is on top of the world right now as Mommy to gorgeous Blue Ivy, born Jan. 7 in New York.
