2011 Grammy Winner Predictions
http://bit.ly/eBd8wT - Click to Subscribe! Who's going to win at this year Grammy Awards? Find out the predictions Next! Hello everyone I'm Brian Corsetti for Clevver Music. It's that time again, The Staple Center is going to light up for the 53rd annual Grammy Awards, and I've got my predictions right now. Album of the Year Arcade Fire, The Suburbs Eminem, Recovery Lady Antebellum, Need You Now Lady Gaga, The Fame Monster Katy Perry, Teenage Dream Like every year it's a close call. The Grammy's are the hardest award show to predict, and its known for another band to come out from underneath to take the win. In this category Katie Perry's Teenage Dream was an absolute hit, but I don't think it has enough pull a win, however its going to make an amazing greatest hits album. Eminem's Recovery, made my eyes open. It's the typical comeback story which people are suckers for like myself. He got a lot of attention recently, he's up for 10 nominations, Dr. Dre produced the album, and there's been a lot of commercial appeal. Plus Dre and Em are going to be performing at the Grammy's for the first time in over a decade!!! Arcade Fire was great, but I'm going to go with Recovery for the Win only because I love Eminiem, but I'm a sucker for a come back. Record of the Year B.o.B (featuring Bruno Mars), "Nothin' on You" Cee Lo Green, "F--- You" Eminem (featuring Rihanna), "Love the Way You Lie" Jay-Z and Alicia Keys, "Empire State of Mind" Lady Antebellum, "Need You Now" Nothin' on You" went to #1, but it's not even B.o.B's most popular song; "Love the Way You Lie"; and "Empire State Of Mind" reached the peak of its popularity way back when I'm Thinking "Need You Now is going to win. Because you can't have a country song NOT win in the big 4. Plus all of Nashville will get pissed! Song of the Year Cee Lo Green, "F--- You" Eminem (featuring Rihanna), "Love the Way You Lie" Lady Antebellum, "Need You Now" Miranda Lambert, "The House That Built Me" Ray LaMontagne and the Pariah Dogs, "Beg Steal or Borrow" This category has Love the Way you Lie written all over it. Remember I said I was an Eminem fan right? His album came out at the right time, and it was a great comeback. Plus it's all about the lyrics in the category and Em is known for some sick lyrics. Best New Artist Drake Esperanza Spalding Florence and the Machine Justin Bieber Mumford & Sons Esperanza Spalding, is out because I don't think a lot of people have heard of her. Drake sold a lot of albums, and might take the win, but my gut is telling me no. Florence and the Machine have the skills, she's female (which grammy voters love) but I'm not convinced. Mumford & Sons don't have enough traction in the US yet but will eventually get there. Which leaves us with Justin Bieber...the only thing holding him back is his age. If he does not win its because people feel he has enough time to make up for it. However I have bieber fever...he's truly a talented kid, so my prediction is Justin Bieber. But seriously... we want to hear your predictions. Let us know in the comment section below and remember to keep checking back for all the latest music news and buzz right here on Clevver Music.
Arcade Fire, Justin Bieber Win Big at Canada's Juno Awards
http://bit.ly/eBd8wT - Click to Subscribe to ClevverMusic! Arcade Fire and Justin Bieber win big at this year's Juno Awards. I've got all the details right here on Clevver Music. Hey everyone I'm Brian Corsetti and you're watching Clevver Music. Arcade Fire took home the most Juno Awards in Toronto over the weekend, and the band is PUMPED! They also won the best album, (for "The Suburbs") For best album, the group beat out Justin Bieber's "My World 2.0," Drake's "Thank Me Later," Hedley's "The Show Must Go On," and "A Place Called Love." Thirty-two awards were given out, plus two special honors to Twain and Young, were awarded on the televised performance on Sunday at the Air Canada Centre. Young asked "what year was this?" when he won for best artist, a category that included Bieber, Drake, Sarah McLachlan and Johnny Reid. Besides Arcade Fire and Young, Justin Bieber was the only other artist to collect more than one award, nabbing fan choice award and best pop album. But the pop star did not show up..... What do you guys think? Did you guys happen to catch the show? Was it cool for Bieber to not show up even though he won so many awards? Let us know what you think in the comment section below. 2011 Grammy Awards Winners Rewind: Was Justin Bieber snubbed?
http://Facebook.com/ClevverTV - Become a Fan! http://Twitter.com/ClevverTV - Follow Us! Was the Biebs robbed of his Grammy Award? ClevverTV has the scoop on this year's winners and more. Hello music fans -- what's going on? I'm Joslyn Davis for ClevverTV with the rewind on last night's Grammy Award show. Overall, I've gotta say that the performances were off the hook, but when it came to the actual award winners, I think it's safe to assume that a lot of fans out there were a bit surprised. Not that's not to say that the winners weren't deserving of their trophies, however insiders are still buzzing about a few categories in particular. First up is Album of the Year, which went to an amazing group -- if you're not familiar with them -- you must check them out -- Arcade Fire took home what many consider the night's top honor for the their album, The Suburbs. They beat out others including Katy Perry, Eminem, Lady Gaga and the night's overall champion Lady Antebellum. Speaking of which, Lady A rocked the house, nabbing a whopping 5 grammys. However the biggest upset of the night, and the award that has everyone scratching their heads was the award for Best new artist went to Esperanza Spalding. Many Grammy viewers were not familiar with the singer prior to her win for an award that many thought Justin Bieber was shoe-in for. Of course Beliebers continue to be beside themselves with sadness. ClevverTV even received tweets from Bieber fans who were admittedly crying over the Bieber loss. Even Justin himself said that he was disappointed, but he has been very gracious in this situation. Of course though, we have to ask the question -- do you think the Biebs was robbed or what? Let us know by hitting the comments section and stick with ClevverTV by following @ClevverTV on twitter. Until next time, in Hollywood, I'm Joslyn Davis, thanks for watching!

'The Hunger Games' Soundtrack To Feature Taylor Swift, The Civil Wars & More
Listen To Taylor Swift 'The Hunger Games' Single http://bit.ly/t9PtIm http://Facebook.com/ClevverTV - Become a Fan! http://Twitter.com/ClevverTV - Follow Us! I'm your host Joslyn Davis with ClevverTV's break-down on next year's hottest movie sound track. The makers of the Hunger Games seem to be taking a bit of a cue from the powers that be behind the Twilight Saga, based on the who's who list of artists and bands signing on to be on the new franchise's soundtrack. Taylor Swift hit twitter over the Christmas holiday weekend to fill her fans and followers in on a secret she admitted to having held on to for a very, very long time. She, along with The Civil Wars released the first song from the Hunger Games track listing. The collaborative song is titled "Safe & Sound," and within no time flat, it took the number ranking on iTunes. According to MTV, the run-down will also include Arcade Fire and the Decemberists. However, what has die-hard fans most pumped up is the fact that the movie's star -- Jennifer Lawrence -- will also have a song on the soundtrack. According the soundtrack's producer, T. Bone Burnett, Jennifer's singing was quote "beautiful." HE added that "she did great. She's singing great. Killer actor too." We're wondering if rock star Lenny Kravitz, who plays Cinna in the Hunger Games, will be lending his musical talents to this project too? If you want to see the art work for Taylor Swift's song with The Civil Wars and take a listen to "Safe & Sound," click the link below to head over to CLevverTV.com. Thanks for watching the show guys, I'm Joslyn Davis in Hollywood reminding you to subscribe to ClevverTV on YouTube for on-going updates just like this one! Bye guys!

Taylor Swift confirms having two songs on the Hunger Games soundtrack and ClevverTV has the entire listing. Hey guys, I'm Joslyn Davis in Hollywood with the rundown on all of the artists set to be a part of the upcoming film's soundtrack. Already generating a ton of buzz is Taylor's collaboration with The Civil Wars, but now, thanks to the singer's interview with MTV, we know that both she AND the Civil Wars will have two songs on the soundtrack. Taylor's song is titled "Eyes Wide Open" and the Civil Wars song is titled "Kingdom Come." As far as the remaining 14 songs on the musical accompaniment to the film -- here's who you can look forward to hearing when the album is available on March 20th -- Arcade Fire, Kid Cudi, Miranda Lambert, The Decemberists, Glen Hansard, The Low Anthem, Punch Brothers, The Secret Sisters, Birdy, Ella Mae Bowen, Jayme Dee, Carolina Chocolate Drops and Neko Case. Talk about an incredible group on artists -- the only person missing that we've heard was set to be on the soundtrack is the film's leading lady herself, Jennifer Lawrence -- so what's up with that? We're not sure as of yet, but we will be keeping you posted as details emerge. Thanks so much for watching ClevverTV. I'm Joslyn Davis and I'll see you next time!
BRAD PITT LIGHT ORCHESTRA
PRESENTED BY TOM MILLETT
BROUGHT TO YOU FROM THE MORGAN HOTEL IN TEMPLE BAR
Hailing from the west of Ireland, The Brad Pitt Light Orchestra has its origins as a group of college friends drawn together from the intertwining worlds of music, theatre, family.... and IT. After parting ways due to emigration and the like, The Brad Pitt Light Orchestra (BPLO) reformed when two members - Ann and David Blake - featured on The Ray D'Arcy Show's album 'Even Better Than The Real Thing Volume 2' with a haunting version of Hole in The Head by The Sugababes. The BPLO went on to produce two successful EPs, 'Fireside Chat' and 'Small Contradictions'.

With an ever-increasing fan base, the BPLO first caught the attention of both Paul McLoone and Alison Curtis of Today FM with their joyful winter single December. Since then, they have recorded two sessions for The McLoone Show while also enjoying strong airplay on other national radio shows - including those of Ryan Tubridy , Ray D'Arcy, Alison Curtis, Jenny Huston, Tom Dunne, Dave Couse, Dan Hegarty and on many Independent local radio stations as well as on BBC Northern Ireland. The BPLO released their eagerly awaited debut LP 'Lowering the Tone' on August 27 2010.

While the three lead vocalists- Blake siblings Ann, David and James- conjure distinct moods, it is the close sibling harmonies that sit at the heart of the BPLO's sound. Built around that glow is the formidable melodic instrumentation of the group and an irrepressible theatricality. The BPLO's music evokes the grandeur of Arcade Fire, the warmth of Crosby Stills & Nash, the wistfulness of Belle & Sebastian, the melodic sensibility of the Divine Comedy and a whiff of a Tom Waits carnival. Arresting musicality coupled with a dark, wry wit, they produce an unmissable vibrant, life-affirming, live experience. Regular performers at Irish festivals like the Electric Picnic and Flatlake, the BPLO comfortably traverse the literary, theatrical and music worlds.

Ann Blake- Vocals
David Blake- Vocals, Electric Guitar, Acoustic Guitar
James Blake- Vocals, Acoustic Guitar
Stephen Childs- Violin, Viola
Tom Howley- Keyboards
Brian O'Grady- Double Bass, Electric Bass
Jamie O'Neill- Percussion, Mandolin
Nick Carswell- Acoustic Guitar, Vocals, Clarinet, Fisher Price items
Boris Hunka and Diane Daly- Vibes and Violin respectively

The BPLO's influences include Leonard Cohen, Tom Waits, Goran Bregovic, Keith Jarrett, Pink Floyd, David Bowie, John Banville, John McGahern, Neil Hannon, Tom Zé, Elvis Costello, Paul Durcan, The Frames, The Strokes and Sufjan Stevens. This list of fine artists from varying talent streams may offer an explanation, for some, for the eclectic style of music produced by The Brad Pitt Light Orchestra.

Incredibly, the Hunger Games soundtrack just became the first soundtrack since Michael Jackson's This Is It in 2009 to debut at number-1 on the Billboard 200. Thanks to EW for gathering all of the numbers, we hear that the album sold 175-thousand copies right off the bat. And it's no surprise really since fans of the book-turned-movie series are quite dedicated -- remember that there were record-breaking box office sales opening weekend with The Hunger Games movie earning 155-million dollars. But it's probably not just that the fans love the storyline, but also that the music is pretty darn good too. Artists including
Maroon 5, Miranda Lambert, Arcade Fire and Kid Cudi -- plus, you can't forget the much talked about hit single, Safe and Sound by Taylor Swift featuring the Civil Wars. Let us know why you think the soundtrack hit number-1 and for more Hunger Games updates, be sure to subscribe to ClevverTV. I'm Dana Ward in Hollywood -- thanks for tuning in!
