2011 Movie Preview: Paramount Pictures

Hello fellow Movie lovers, I'm Chelsea Cannell, thanks for tuning in to Clevver Movies! Paramount Pictures just released their lineup for 2011 so let's take a look at what we can look forward to in the coming months! First Up, It's the Ashton Kutcher Natalie Portman romantic Comedy "No strings attached." The Movie was released on January 21st, grabbing the top spot its opening weekend and should perform nicely through Valentine's Day Next up, for all of you who've come down with the Bieber Fever, Look for the Justin Bieber Documentary "Never Say Never" to hit theaters on February 11th. Then, paramount and Nickelodeon team up to bring you the Gore Verbinski film starring Johnny Depp, Isla Fisher, and Abigail Breslin in "Rango." Their animated adventure will be released on March 4th. And If you're like me, you've been waiting for this one. Thor is just around the corner making its big screen debut on May 6th. The Kenneth Branaugh Marvel Movie stars Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman and Anthony Hopkins. But I'm pretty sure I don't need to sell you on this one. If you liked the first one, you're probably already excited about the 2nd one. Coming out on May 26th, Kung Fu Panda 2 has no shortage of celeb names attached: Jack Black, Angelina Jolie, Dustin Hoffman, Jackie Chan, Seth Rogen, Lucy Liu, Jean- Claude Van Damme, and Victor Garber. Then on June 10th we'll finally get to see what JJ Abrams Super 8 is all about. Starring Gabriel Basso, Kyle Chandler and Elle Fanning- this one is definitely on our list. Coming out on July 1st -- Get ready for another helping of those Transformers with Shia LaBeouf, Rosie Huntington Whitely, John Malkovich, Patrick Dempsey and Josh Duhamel teaming up for "Dark of the Moon." July 22nd is the day you'll finally be able to see "Captain America: The First Avenger" starring Chris Evans, Tommy Lee Jones, and Stanley Tucci. Next, it may be a remake but hopefully it won't fall victim to the curse. The 80's Super hit Footloose will get it's big screen release on October 14th, with Julianne Huff, Andy Macdowell and Dennis Quaid. Then on October 21st - Paranormal Activity is making its way back to the big screen with the studio's third installment of the haunted franchise. Coming out on November 4th, the Shrek Spinoff Puss in Boots starring Antonio Banderas, Salma Hayek, Zach Galifiankis, and Billy bob Thornton Will finally hit theaters. On December 16th gear up for another Mission impossible as Tom Cruise and Jeremy Renner share the screen in Ghost Protocol. AND finally on December 23rd look out for The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn -- the Steven Spielburg film features the voices of Daniel Craig, Simon Pegg and Andy Serkis. 'Thor' Opens In U.S. To Huge Numbers

Thor has been on big screens in USA for less than a day and is already seeing incredible numbers at the box office. ClevverTV has the dollar report right now. You're back at ClevverTV -- Hello everyone. I'm Joslyn Davis Hollywood with word on what most people are calling this weekend's must-watch movie, Thor. Thor, which boasts a cast, crew and creative team that boasts the likes of Anthony Hopkins, Kenneth Branagh, Natalie Portman, Chris Hemsworth and the legendary Stan Lee, just to name a few, has already seen successful releases in other parts of the globe. And, it looks like the hot streak for the flick will continue here in the states. The movie opened on Thursday night, or actually Friday morning at 12 am in just 1800 locations. However, it already grossed 3.3 million dollars. When you consider the fact that the number of theaters this weekend that will be showing the film will jump to close to 4000, well, I think it's safe to say that Thor could take one of, if not the top spot at the box office. Aside from the cast and the fact that Thor is a marvel icon, the movie has also garnered stellar reviews. So do you plan to see Thor this weekend or do you have something else in mind? Hey hey movie buffs im Tatiana carrier for clevver movies with some exciting THOR updates!!! I mean, any update from thor is exciting right?! Well first off, we finally have a writer!!!! Its looking like Marvel Studios has set Saving Private Ryan scribe Robert Rodat to rewrite Thor 2 for director Alan Taylor. Next up in thor news, Jaimie Alexander has confirmed to MTV that her character Sif will appear in Thor 2. Why do I have a feeling she is going to be all up on my man??? Regardless, heres what she had to say "I'm a comic book nerd at heart, so I'd like to see the relationship between Thor and Sif progress....Whether or not they do that, we're not sure yet. We'll see. I think that element will be in there, but I don't know how much." UHH HUUUUUUUHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!! And finally good ol Loki has some infor for us. Tom Hiddleson recently dished about the thor sequel and what his supervillian character loki will be up to next. He said "Loki's eternal predilection is to dance on the fault lines of villainy and redemption" he went on to say, "I think whatever happens to him, he'll always keep people guessing." In addition to Hiddleston, "Thor 2" will bring back Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, and Anthony Hopkins and Walt Disney Pictures has scheduled to release the film in the U.S. theaters on November 15, 2013. So what do you guys think about all the new info! The one thing I want to know is...with Natalie portman AND Jaime Alexander on the same screen with thor and this "developing relationship" who will score the dude with the hammer? Maybe I can squeeze into that script for a hot second? Scarlett Johansson Honored With Hollywood Walk of Fame Star and we have the details!

Only 27, and now officially has been honored with a star--- and well deserved we must say. Scarlett Johansson broke out with Lost In Translation and has been a s star on the rise ever since!

Her major movie credits include, The Prestige, IronMan 2, The Island, We Bought a Zoo and most recently is setting set box office records as Black Widow in The Avengers.

Scar Jo was joined by co-star Clark Gregg from 'The Avengers' in addition to Jeremy Renner who joked about how it was to work with Johasson.... renner said, quote "Working with her was tremendous... ly awful....For six months, she continuously threw me around, beat me, stepped on me and wiped the floor with my dignity and self-respect every day - all with a smile on her face."
