Looks like people are really starting to take The Amazing Spider-Man more seriously since that new trailer hit.

Hey movie buffs, Tatiana Carrier here with Clevver Movies. Now who of you were blown away by that new Spidey trailer? We here at Clevver Movies pay attention to your comments, and before yesterday, it seemed like Spider-man was just an afterthought for most of you. It was all about The Dark Knight Rises and The Avengers. But it seems like the peoples voice has changed. It's now looking like a real 3 hero race this summer.

We all know that The Dark Knight Rises will be amazing, and we've been waiting for The Avengers movie since the first time we saw Samuel L. Jackson at the end of the first Iron Man movie. But as for Spider-man, we've all been pretty hesitant about it. Was it really time for a reboot? Was Andrew Garfield going to be able to bring the right character to the screen or were we just going to see him look emo for 2 hours. But that was before. I'll be the first to say that I am now fracking excited about this movie and I think it's going to be a major contender this summer.

It did seem like this trailer had a bigger impact over The Avengers super bowl trailer. And here's why I think that. The avengers trailer was good, but it didn't raise the bar for us. We knew we wanted to see it. It hardly gave us anything new outside of some glimpses of The Hulk in action. Spider-man on the other hand had more on the line. I think Sony knew that they weren't the popular kid at the party and they had to win over the audience. And that they did.

And then, at that same party is Batman. Just sitting in the corner saying I don't care. Everyone knows I'm going to make the most money this summer. Hands down. Don't even have to think twice. Boycott or not. Now I don't think that The Amazing Spider-man will beat the caped crusader at all, BUT, I do think it'll be that come from behind movie that dominates over The Avengers. Yes, I said it. After seeing what this new spider-man movie will be bringing to the table, I think it will do better than the Avengers. But it won't be an easy fight.

Hey guys thanks so much for checking back with us at clevver movies, im your host Tatiana carrier with the latest on the VENOM movie.

According to the LA TIMES, "The Amazing Spider-Man" which releases this summer, has inspirted another character to take a leap onto the big screen...VENOM.

The studio is negotiating with Josh Trank, the director of the found-footage flick "Chronicle," to take the helm of this spidey spin off.

For those of you NOT familiar with the characters associated with spiderman, VENOM is the gooey villain who was a regular in the Marvel comics and was spideys nemesisbrought to life by Topher Grace, in the third "Spider-Man" outting in 2007.

As far as casting, Topher Grace is not expected to return as they will most likely go for a younger casting like they did with Andrew Garfield for the Spider-Man reboot... Also they are expected to change Venom from a villain to more of an anti-hero...which for you comic book fans know, there IS a difference between the two.

We are excited to hear a vemon film is on the way considering its kinda been in the works since 2008. And actually Gary Ross was supposed to direct the flick back in 2009, but then decided to move on to other projects, including the highly anticipated Hunger Games!

Director Marc Webb and star Emma Stone hit up WonderCon to talk about their new movie 'The Amazing Spider-Man'

One of the world's most popular characters is back on the big screen as a new chapter in the Spider-Man legacy is revealed in The Amazing Spider-Man?. Focusing on an untold story that tells a different side of the Peter Parker story, the new film stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans, Denis Leary, Campbell Scott, Irrfan Khan, with Martin Sheen and Sally Field. The film is directed by Marc Webb from a screenplay written by James Vanderbilt, based on the Marvel Comic Book by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko. Laura Ziskin, Avi Arad, and Matt Tolmach are producing the film in association with Marvel Entertainment for Columbia Pictures, which will open in theaters everywhere in 3D on July 3, 2012.

Andrew Garfeild chats with Ellen, and we have the details!

Just incase you weren't convinced that Andrew Garfeild was not only perfect for the role of spidey in marc webbs upcoming The Amazing Spiderman, he went and had to be the most adorable spider ever on the ellen show!

He admitted to get bashful when the ladies go crazy over him in his Spider-Man suit, and discusses how difficult it was to get fit for the role. We think you did a fine job, Andrew. He also reveals what kind of underwear the skintight suit allows him to squeeze into and even let Ellen dress him up in a clever disguise.

The summer movie season is upon us and it looks like the first big movie of the summer is also the most anticipated. According to a recent survey conducted by movie ticket site Fandango, The Avengers is the film moviegoers are most eager to see among men and second among females behind Snow White and the Huntsmen.

We told you yesterday that tracking on The Avengers is stronger than that of The Hunger Games and is currently outpacing that other big summer superhero flick, The Dark Knight Rises. Christopher Nolan's final Batman film ranked second in the survey among men and fourth among women behind Men In Black 3.

Rounding out the list of anticipated films among men is The Bourne Legacy at number 3, Men In Black 3 at number four and Prometheus was named the fifth most anticipated film. Rounding out the top 5 films for the ladies is the Johnny Depp starrer Dark Shadows.

One notable film missing from the list is The Amazing Spider-Man starring Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone. After gaining some momentum following the latest trailer, it seems the Spider-Man reboot has lost some footing and could be completely out of the race for the box office crown.

Get excited, people. There's a new Spider-Man poster in town! That's right, it just hit the public and we just can't get enough of it. As you can see the most classic yet modern Spidey suit is featured as the focus for it with an uber close-up. Remember this latest version is called The Amazing Spider-Man and it's set to hit theatres in 3D and IMAX 3D -- a new feature that has a lot of fans excited for a visual change-up. It looks like Spider-Man, as played by Andrew Garfield this round, might be in his own web and he's definitely been slashed across his suit-branded logo of sorts. If you wondering what else will be "special" about this one, MTV sat down with director Marc Webb and based on the Q and A, it seems like there will be a bit more darkness, QUOTE 'we just wanted to keep things real. I think it comes down to everything having to emerge from a real place' with other mentions of Spider-Man being a bit of a bully, not totally altruistic and definitely empowered, adding that there might be consequences for him doing whatever he wants. Andrew Garfield and Rashida Jones were spotted leaving the Broadway show "Death of a Salesman" at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre in New York City. But what's really interesting about the two young actors is that they really put on a show of their PDA (Public Display of Affection). Andrew and Rashida kept hugging each other and grabbing each others hands!!!! Scandalous! Well, maybe not, they might just be good friends! But who knows!?! Either way... one must wonder what Andrew's current superstar girlfriend Emma Stone must think of all this PDA!

Weve got more news coming from the amazing spiderman...and this is something you WONT want to miss!

Just yesterday we announced that Alex Kurtzman and Roberto orci have joined on to write the screenplay for the amazing spiderman 2, and now we have official confirmation on when we will get a peak at theat trailer for the amazing spiderman!!! As if the day May 4th couldn't get any more exciting with the release of the avengers, the much anticipated trailer for the amazing spiderman will be attached to the super hero ensemble flick!

Marc Webb confirmed on Attack of the Show that a new trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man will be joining the previously announced trailer for The Dark Knight Rises before screenings ofMarvel's The Avengers, beginning Friday, May 4th. According to Webb, the trailer will likely arrive online first, sometime next Thursday...I mean, next week might be the most exciting week yet....until july 20th ofcourse.

The Amazing Spider-Man is set for release on July 3rd and stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans, and Denis Leary.

Spider-Mans Web Shooter Revealed In New Viral Video and we have the details!

Everyone has been swowering the web to try and crack clues in the elaborate viral campaign for The Amazing Spider-Man and today we are just a bit closer....the viral site has revealed new images AND a video...pretty awesome if I say so myself.

The images feature the oh so awesome infamous webshooter...in all its detailed glory...we literally see the blueprints for spideys shooter...I mean, it doesn't get more personal than this folks!
