ClevverTV is back - Welcome everybody. I'm Joslyn Davis with the new scoop on Step Up. The third installment of the dance movie franchise is getting ready to hit theaters and the new trailer is insane! Of course it's packed with off the charts dancing, acrobatics, super hot people and the soundtrack is shaping up to be amazing. There are also some actors in the flick that you might recognize. Most notably is actress Alyson Stoner and Glee actor Harry Shum Jr, both of whom were dancers before they ever started acting. The movie is about a very close group of street dancers who do everything - including live - together. So what will happen when the crew has to go up again the best hip hop dancers in the world? Only time, and of course the movie, will tell. Step Up 3D comes out on August 6th and in the words of Alyson Stoner "it's more than just a dance movie. It's gonna be epic." It's a high-energy, dance-packed video featuring the campers all getting funky in the main dining room area. They're dancing on the tables, the risers and stairs. The How I Met Your Mother star told the mag that she and her original cast mates are getting along pretty well. She said she hadn't seen many of her American Pie co-stars in years, but that at their first script reading "it was one of those things where the dynamic with everyone is as if no time has passed." As for what will happen in American Reunion, the actress told Entertainment Weekly that characters Michelle and Jim -- played by Jason Biggs -- are still married, have a child and are navigating the waters of parenthood. The characters also revisit the past at their high school reunion. Hannigan says of the franchise "of course, there's the raunchy humor but there's also a lot of heart to it.
