According to DEADLINE Its looking like Disney IS going forward with the untitled Cinderella story and are looking to Mark Romanek to direct! You may know Mark from One Hour Photo and Never let me Go. Aline Brosh Mckenna, responsible for penning The Devil Wears Prada SOLD the new version of Cinderella to Disney for a reported 7 figure deal. This re-imaging of Cinderella is the classic tale of prince meets Cinderella, the mystery beauty who shows up at the ball, then disappears leaving nothing behind but a glass slipper. IT will be interesting to see what new direction Brosh Mckennas version will take us! No official studio deal just yet, but we will be sure to keep you posted as we get more details!
