Thanks for checking back with us at clevver movies im Tatiana carrier and with Jack and Jill releasing this weekend, I thought we would countdown the best of adam sandler who plays both jack and jill in the flick. Now I have to lay down a disclaimer...it was REALLLYYY HARD to come up with only 5 sandler flicks that rocked my life...ok so lets get started. In at number 5 is the all star cast movie, Grown Ups- about 5 best friends from highschool who reunite after their coaches death stars adams real life best friends- kevin james, chris rock, david spade, and rob schnieder...I think it goes without saying that this flick was funny over load at its finest. I Now Pronounce you Chuck and Larry comes in at number 4. This flick also starring real life buddy kevin james, shows adam in a much more sensitive light...in this flick, sandler plays a straight guy pretending to be gay with his best friend in order to receive domestic partner benfits. The WaterBoy is 3rd on my list. This feel good comedy is about A VERY SPECIAL football team water boy who discovers he has a unique tackling ability and becomes a member of the team. Funny People highlights the more serious side of sandlers acting chops, landing this flick in 2nd place. Funny people also stars fellow comedian seth rogan and is about comedian George Simmons who learns of a terminal health condition which leads him to want to buold real friendships...in doing so he befriends a green comedian, seth rogan who he takes under his wing. This flick will make you laugh, cry, and secretly wish you were a stand up comic. And finally the number one adam sandler flick on my countdown is the iconic, legendary, BILLY MADISON!!!! Released in 1995 billy Madison was adam sandlers break out role...in the flick billy not only had to repeat grades k-12, but he also had the best one liners of all time...and just when you thought this countdown couldn't get any better...heres my attempt of channeling my inner billy with a few of my all time fav billy madision quotes "Back to school. Back to school, to prove to Dad that I'm not a fool. I got my lunch packed up, my boots tied tight, I hope I don't get in a fight. Oh! Back to school... back to school... back to school." "Want to touch the hiney" Chlorophyll? More like BOREophyll. "Shampoo is better! I go on first and clean the hair! Conditioner is better! I make the hair silky and smooth! " Ok ive officially caught the billy fever, im outta here...STOP LOOKING AT MY SWANNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey guys, thanks for checking back with us at clever movies, Im Tatiana carrier and with jack and jill releaseing this week, I thought I would warn you...yes warn you before you head out to see the flick yourselves. Now, I LOVE me some adam sandler, but I must say, Jack and Jill FELL down the hill...so far, the flick has earned a ZERO percent on rotten tomatoes, and the critics weren't shy about telling us how they really felt about the quote comedy. So the flick is about Family guy Jack Sadelstein who prepares for the annual event he dreads: the Thanksgiving visit of his identical twin sister, the needy and passive-aggressive Jill, who then refuses to leave. Jack and Jill are BOTH played by sandler. David Rooney from the Hollywood reporter said, "It's an uphill battle for Jack and Jill with this leaky pail of comic swill." Jamie Christly from Slant Magazine incincuated that sandler even thinks the movie sucks, he said, "More bluntly than ever before (and that's saying something), Sandler uses an entire film to let his loyal fans know that he thinks they're all a bunch of stupid *******." And finally, a more gentle critic... Phil Villarreal from OK! Magazine said "The more I think about the movie, the more I like it, but I still don't like it enough to recommend you expose your recession-drained wallet to its particular brand insanity in a wig and dress" So are any of you sandler fans going to still take the risk and see the movie despite the horrible reviews? Hey guys, thanks for watching clevver movies, your number one source for movie news! Im Tatiana carrier with your box office preview! So lets see what the experts are predicting to be the top movies of the weekend to help you make up your movie minds when selecting what youll be checking out in the theatres! . Coming in at number one by a LONG SHOT will be, without a doubt, The Twilight Saga, Breaking dawn part 1 with an anticipated 148 million for the weekend. Despite these expected astronomical numbers, the film is so far receiving the franchise's worst reviews, but we know that this doesn't matter at all to the Twilight fan base. The Twihards haven't had a movie meal in more than a year, and were are thinking they are veryyyyyyyyyy hungry from some bella, Edward and Jacob. . Happy Feet two, which also opens this weekend should bring in an incredible 39 million despite being up against the warewolves and vamps! The first Happy Feet, an Oscar winner for best animated feature, opened to $41.5 million on the same November weekend five years ago...and while we think the movie wioll be a hit for the families this weekend, the reviews weren't nearly as strong as they were for the original...regarless, we think happy feet 2 will be dancing its way into this countdown for the next few weeks to come, especially with thanksgiving just around the corner. . Immortals still holds on in the top 3 with a potential 14 million for this weekend. This 3-D action spectacle did have a solid $32.2 million debut last week, but we are figuring atleast 55 percent drop here when up against the penguin, vampires, and wolves... . Speaking of furry friends, Puss in Boots should come in 4th place for the weekend with 13 million. We are thinking happy feet 2 will dance its way into the hearts of the movie going families who have already seen puss in action. Either way, Puss in Boots has done incredible in the box office since it opened, and we expect the feisty feline to stay on this countdown for atleast one more weekend. . And finally, adam sandlers drag comedy JAck and Kill is expected to hold the 5th place spot for boxoffice numbers with 12 million...if history repeats itself, Adam Sandler's comedies usually fall roughly 50 percent their second weekend. Jack and Jill shouldn't fare any differently. . So which of these 5 will you be checking out this weekend? Chloe Grace Moretz won Favorite Movie Star Under 25: She accepted the award with style and grace heres what she had to say "I can't even imagine that I'm in the same category as the whole Harry Potter cast and I won, that's weird... I remember watching this with my mom when I was, well I'm only 14, so when I was a child and I was always hoping that I would someday be up here accepting this award." . And speaking of harry potter, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 won for Favorite Book Adaptation! And that was just ONE of the 4 awards HP took home for the evening also including Favorite Movie, Favorite Action Movie, Favorite Ensemble Movie Cast!! . Emma Stone won for favorite movie actress, and as you guys know she actually starred in another book adaptation, THE HELP! She said, "This is ridiculous, thank you so much you have no idea. Sorry I'm nervous I get choked up. I moved to LA eight years ago this week with my mom and it is so insane to be standing up here right now, its hard to even describe to you. I just want to say that I did the biggest thing I have learned... was I've learned that you have to stay true to yourself... and don't be afraid even though people might say that what you're doing isn't cool or isn't right. I promise you, you will not regret it" And favorite movie actor was johnny depp! . Favorite comedic actor went to adam sandeler who had a great acceptance speech, heres what he said, "Hello, my name is Adam Sandler thank you so much for this wonderful award... Late last night I realized that there was a group of people that I have shamefully never thanked, a group that taught me and shaped me to make movies that critics hate, but that you the people seem to enjoy, I am talking about all the public school teachers." . A film based on Hasbro, Inc.'s well-known game, Candy Land, is in the works to be turned into a live action movie starring Adam Sandler! Imagine a stroll through the Peppermint Forest, the Gum Drop Mountains, and the Lollypop woods coming to life on the big screen! Columbia Pictures, Happy Madison (Adam Sandler's Production company) and Hasbro Inc. are still making the final decision has to when this film will start production.

However, it is said Kevin Lima, director of Enchanted, will be directing the project and Sandler along with Robert Smigel will be writing the screenplay. Doug Belgrad, President of Columbia Pictures said QUOTE: "Candy Land is more than just a game. It is a brand that children, parents and grandparents know and love. The world of Candy Land offers an extraordinary canvas upon which to create a fantastical, live-action family adventure film with a larger than life part for Adam. We are thrilled to partner with Hasbro and Happy Madison on this project."
