Is Nicki Minaj offended by comparisons to Lady Gaga? Hey guys, welcome back to ClevverMusic. Now while most of you little monsters would LOVE to be compared to Gaga, that is so not the case for Nicki Minaj. In fact, Nicki told ABC News that there really is nothing to compare. When asked if she was offended when people draw parallels between the two fashion-forward females, Nicki's responded with: "Offends me, no. Irks me, yes."
Nicki's take? The two are "in completely different lanes" - pointing out that she herself is a rapper from southside Jamaica, Queens.Now when the interviewer pointed out that they both wear wigs, Nicki couldn't help but point out that quote- "Every female in this game - every female in this game - wears wigs." OK -- well, what about their similar fashion style? Nicki's take "Over-the-top costomes? *ehhhh* try again." Clearly, Nicki's not a fan of the comparison....but she is a fan of Lady Gaga herself.
"Gaga's a fantastic artist, you know, she paved her way," "She's opened her own lane. But I think that I have my own lane, and we never cross. Ever. So, you know, I really don't get the comparison anymore. Our music doesn't sound the same. Our stage presence is not the same. I just can't see the similarities."

Ladies are leading the pack in the 2012 Billboard Award Nominations! Hey guys, welcome back to ClevverMusic. Adele, Rihanna, and party rockers LMFAO lead the nominations for the 2012 Billboard Awards, which will take place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on Sunday May 20 on ABC.
The modern award show reflects Billboard's chart rankings based on key fan interactions with music. This includes: album sales and downloads, track downloads, radio airplay and touring as well as streaming and social interactions on Facebook, Twitter, Vevo, YouTube, and Spotify. So basically, the Billboard Awards take everything into account, which we think is pretty cool.
Adele came out on top with the most nominations at 18, including Top Artist, Top Female Artist and Top Billboard 200 Artist. LMFAO partiers follow with 17 nominations, and Rihanna came in third with 13 nominations. Lady Gaga and Lil Wayne trail behind the big 3 with 10 nominations each.

There's a new cast member headed to Rosewood -- Get excited, Pretty Little Liars fans! Thanks so much to our friend Robyn Ross at TV Guide for the inside scoop, we hear that the question of if Maya St. Germain was murdered, Sterling Sulieman is taking on dramatic season 3. He's set to play Maya's cousin, Nathan who apparently transfers to Hollis College. Plus, he's not just studying the law books but he's also taking notes on the new people in his life. Sterling has been all of the place in the industry, including as a dancer for the High School Musical tour, a host for Disney and he even played Harper on The Vampire Diaries during season 1 -- he's one of the people who got locked up in the tomb. Yikes. Remember that you can tune into the season 3 premiere of PLL on June 5 at 8/7 pm central on ABC Family. Pretty Little Liars makes it's season 3 debut on June 5th, and ABC Family just released all of the info on what fans have to look forward to when the dramatic show returns. The season opener titled "It Happened 'That' Night," we'll pick back up with the girls after an entire summer has passed. While some viewers might imagine the girls would be calm and collected with A finally being figured, that will not be the case at all. In hopes of recovering from the trauma of figuring out Mona's intentions, all of the girls have separated for the summer. Aria took a photography class, Spencer took college courses at Hollis, Hanna and Caleb took some cooking lessons, and Emily built houses in Haiti. Although the girls have each made individual attempts to heal, we'll learn that they're definitely not over what went down. The girls' return to Rosewood coincides with the 2nd anniversary of Alli's disappearance, and according to what we hear, the girls will find themselves back on the defensive when a shocking event rocks Rosewood. NO word on what this even will entail, but we can hardly wait! You can check out the latest promo pics for Season 3 of Pretty Little Liars -- they've officially hit the public. This round you can see all of your favorite gals posing for the cameras. They're dressed a bit more casually that we usually see in the prim and proper ad photos, but the PLLers look gorgeous as ever. Shay Mitchell is doing the boots, ripped jeans and tank thing, while Ashley Benson is rocking some high heel booties and a fabulous yellow blouse, Lucy Hale, is a bit edgy in her deep turquoise colored mini dress and Troian Bellisario is definitely inspired by her classic style ways but there's a bit of funk and fun thrown into the overall fashion. This season's promo photos also include some other starring girls on the show -- which is just further proof that we'll be seeing a bit more of them in the storyline. Sasha Pietrse is looking pretty and sneaky and Janel Parrish definitely has a bit of an evil vibe in her eyes. Of course, you can see the four friends posing together, happy as can be, for a few group shots and it's definitely making us uber excited for the Season 3 deubt on ABC Family Tuesday June 5 at 8pm eastern pacific.
